Have A Lovely Weekend

..... and here I sit at SoffiaB wondering how to celebrate in a small way that doesn’t offend my hosting nation, whilst trying to stay true to my birth heritage – I decided it might be best to just leave it all alone.

My musings weren’t terribly witty, I didn’t have anything earth shattering to reveal about being a Brit living in the US and neither very surprisingly did I have any new interesting facts about Independence Day itself. 

So forgive me if this seems a tad lame but I actually saw this piece and thought how jolly!  Some different things to do in order to mark 4 July that even I could undertake.  I especially like number 9, because as you may know we do make our luxury silk robes in New York, in the historic garment district.  And honestly one can always do with another bona fide excuse to go shopping can’t one!

In the end I have decided that perhaps it might be best to just celebrate with a glass of bubbly or two how fortunate I am to have the best of both worlds.
